Hexagonal ‘Alpine’ Table

This one-of-a-kind handmade hexagonal occasional table is made from solid elm and resin. It has a removable ottoman tray and tripod legs. The tray is made from a fabulous piece of Burr Elm which has been carefully sliced into six sections and glued to form a large hexagonal. White resin fills the holes and fissures to create a finish that resembles a snow capped alpine landscape. The resin ‘flood coat’ brings out the intricate grain of the burr elm. The removable tray sits on non-marking rubber feet.

A wax oil finish has been applied to all surfaces except the flood coated tray base.
