A beautiful piece of Scottish Elm has been hand crafted with black resin to create this rectangular tray that looks like a Sahara sand dune contrasted by a black night sky.
Black resin encases the wood and looks opaque against a solid surface but has an interesting translucency when held towards the light.
The tray has a recessed bottom for strength and it sits on rubber feet for further stability. The top surface has been flood coated to produce a high gloss finish which is also heat resistant. All exposed wood surfaces have been finished with hard wax oil. 100% UK made.
