Elm and Black Resin Ottoman Tray

Scottish Elm has been hand crafted with black resin to create this ottoman tray which can also be hung as wall decor.

The elm has been sliced to produce two ‘book-matched’ halves. This technique gives the tray symmetry and a uniquely individual design which on this tray, creates a ‘heart’ shaped pattern.

Black resin, which has been poured to produce a ‘ripple effect’, encases the wood and the top has been flood coated to create a heat resistant  surface.

The tray  has a recessed bottom for strength and it sits on rubber feet for further stability. The top surface has been flood coated to produce a high gloss finish. All exposed wood surfaces have been finished with hard wax oil. 100% UK made.
