Tray Table – Spalted Elm and Resin

Handcrafted from UK grown elm and infused with a sea blue resin, this piece redefines contemporary elegance while paying homage to a classic design.

The table features a removable top tray measuring 50cm diameter and made from beautiful spalted burr elm, accentuated by a river of blue resin, provides both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The age-old technique of steam bending has been used to mould the resin and elm into a circle, forming the sides of the tray. Steam bending has also been  used to form the base of the table which has a fixed shelf that mirrors the elm and blue resin of the top tray.

The removable tray allows for easy transportation of your belongings. It is finished with black suede on the base, which allows it to sit comfortably on a soft ottoman stool or any soft surface, offering complete versatility.
