Occasional Table – Elm with Green and Rose Gold Resin

This small  occasional table is a commissioned piece, made to the client’s precise size requirements. The table is made from Scottish Elm and green and rose gold resin. The top is formed from character elm with interesting burrs, swirls and ‘live edge’. The base has been constructed using a single piece of elm, cut and fashioned to make four tapered ‘cut away’ legs. The floating top sits on specially turned elm spindles to give the piece a contemporary look. The resin, which is colour-matched to the client’s specification and infused with rose gold powder, has been sanded and polished to achieve a high gloss sheen. All wood surfaces have been finish with wax oil.
