Large Burr Elm Keepsake Box

This large keepsake box is a one-of-a-kind item. It is handcrafted from a single piece of beautiful Scottish burr Elm and infused with black and silver resin.

The lid is secured with handmade hinges made from ebonised Elm and held closed with 4 discretely positioned magnets. The interior is lined with American Walnut and black suede.

The exterior has been sanded and buffed to a fine sheen and treated with natural wax oils and polish.

The box sits on non-marking bumper feet. 

Measuring 43.5cm x 26cm x 15cm (16cm including feet), this is a large contemporary box with many uses.
