‘Emerald Coast’ Hall Bench

Taking inspiration from the Gulf of Mexico Emerald Coast, this Elm and resin hall bench is a one-off. The aim was to create a feature bench that looked simple and elegant in design but robust and strong. It is surprising how a piece of furniture that strives to achieve simplicity often has underlying complexity in its making. Indeed, over 40 different processes were involved in making this hall bench.

Made from a single slab of Elm this bench weighs in at around 17 kg. It is a heavy piece of furniture but its proportions make it a stunning statement piece for a hallway or reception room.

The wood is Scottish Elm sourced from sustainably managed forests.

All wood surfaces have been treated with natural wax oils.
