‘Black Sea’ Coffee Table

This wood and resin coffee table has been handmade from a magnificent piece of burr Elm that has been set in polished black resin. The contrast of materials creates the impression of a coastline engulfed by a black sea.  The legs are made from Ash that has been bridle jointed and ebonised using a high quality French Polishing solution. The wood was locally sourced and sustainably grown in the UK.

All wood surfaces have been treated with natural wax oils.
